21st September 2021
Just as Mr G would have wanted - we've had another busy day in the technology suite. Today, the team carried Dylan out, supported our F1 in schools team and helped create a display board about CAUC.
Off to a good start, we got Dylan out of bed and carried him to the technology suite so we could do some work on the back end.
Next up, we went to wake up Basil. I think that we were clearly out of practise - maybe we should start upping our Weetabix!!!
As Richard was showing and teaching us about the back end of the cars, something suddenly dropped out!
Thanks to the beady eyes of Lara, we managed to locate the missing bearring...it was nowhere near where the rest of them were looking!
Once Dylan's back axle was done, we turned our attention to Basil. Tonight's task was to repair the rim of the cockpit. Charlotte was tasked with cutting out a template to measure out the carbon fibre.
In preparation for the school's Year 7 Open Evening this Thursday, Rachel, Jess and Darcey were working hard to update our display board.
Lastly, our team members involved in the F1 in Schools competition were hard at work getting their portfolios ready for the F1 in schools competition.
Another productive evening, I wonder what we will get up to next week...
