The 3rd of May starts our countdown to the first race of the season!
To start off the evening we had a special presentation from Nigel to teach us about the foundations of an electric motor. He made a miniature model of a motor and showed us the theory behind how it worked. It was very interesting to learn about Fleming's left hand rule and the action to go with it!
Now we understood the theory - it was time to get to work!! We fixed the motor so Darcey and Daphne put it back in Basil while Katy looked after the role bar brace!
Next up we continued to brainstorm fundraising ideas with Alice and Phoebe - good luck guys!
Georgia and Lily are having another look at the kit car tonight. Unfortunately it won't be ready for this season!
Lucy and Ellie were doing the stickers to get us race ready for Mallory.
To end the night some team members decided to do some last minute pits!
Everyone is really looking forward to Mallory Park... only 22 days and counting!
