Kevin Gornall (Mr G)

 

 

It is with great sadness that we learnt of Mr Kevin Gornall's passing this week. Our thoughts, love and condolences go to Sara, his family and friends. 

 

 In life, few people leave a lasting impact on you and Mr G was certainly one of these people. An exceptional man that gave so much to our team.

Mr G had the innate ability to continually inspire and encourage the team, pushing us to be the best we can be and not settling for anything less. Like a true engineer, nothing was ever seen as a problem, instead an opportunity to work out a solution. He would constantly tell us that 'we never lose, only learn'. At the time, we would cringe and roll our eyes, but this couldn't sum him up any better. Of course, he loved to win just like anyone, but what he truly cared about was that we were always learning and developing new skills...all whilst having fun! 

 

 

To us, Mr G was more than a teacher. He was our inspiration, continually supporting us both in and out of the classroom. His presence will be sorely missed but rest assured his legacy will certainly live on.
