Today at CAUC we started remaking the nose and got some fundraising done for the upcoming quiz night.
Today the tech suite is quite noisy! But not as loud as the horn.
The fundraising team for tonight have been busy emailing working out ways to encourage the possible sponsors and communities into helping us prepare some prizes and funds for our races.
The nose makers are geared in gloves, aprons and old clothes to armour their school uniform and nice clothes from the mess.The group in charge of the nose have been working hard with a new type of resin that we haven't tried before. We're excited to see the results!
One team of nose creators have been working on the bagging of the nose and they secured the two materials with double-sided tape and took out all the air inbetween the two materials and the other team are wetting out the carbon fibre which looks complicated. After another noisy and busy week we head home and say goodbye to our projects for the evening hoping that they will be successful!
