This week in the tech suite there have been lots of jobs to keep us busy!
Maheen was very concentrated while cutting out the wax that will be used inside the mold of our new car!
Amelie and Neve were adding the shuttering around the mold to make sure it is very secure once the Carbon fibre is added. Lots of screws needed to be added so they got to work right away!
Sam worked on the lathe, continuing her work from last week, making a small ring to be used in the front steering. It took lots of precise measuring but they got there in the end!
Georgia and Jess carried on designing the new pit board. After a quick trip to Handy household with Mr Ebsworth, they were ready to add the filler to make sure it is a smooth application when the carbon fibre is put on top!
After a long night we are ready to pack up and meet again next week!
