Another Tuesday night in the tech suite and work carries on!
Lara with help from Cerys, carried on with their work to improve the battery boxes. Tonight, this involved attaching the aluminium plates to the plywood that will subsequently be fixed to the side of our battery boxes. These aluminium plates will be where the thermostat will be placed.
This week Ella has been working with Richard and Jeff on Openfoam to test and simulate potential new car designs more accurately.
After our successful test of using Acetone to remove the lacquer from Basil a couple of weeks ago, Erin, Phebs, Alice and Rachel have started to prepare Basil. They've been peeling of his stickers, removing the front & rear wheel wings before removing our recently re-made & painted nose cone.
It's back to that time of year again where we are looking to recruit a couple of new team members. Therefore, Cate prepared the presentation for the year 7 assembly on Monday.
....We aren't quite sure what Becksy was doing/looking at!!!!
Before we knew it, it was time to pack up.
