Driving Lines and Special Guests are the perfect summary of CAUC's antics tonight.
In a few weeks time, CAUC are off to spend an exciting day at a location that may or may not involve driving lines (...You'll have to watch this space and our social media pages to find out where... Any Guesses?!)
Aware that we haven't driven the cars since October 2019 and therefore maybe a little rusty, we thought it maybe beneficial to touch up on our driving lines!
Team Captains (..who happen to also be our experienced drivers) Cate and Immy prepared a presentation to share with the team.
Their talk included creative animations and an opportunity for team members to draw the proposed line to take. This was a brilliant exercise and a great chance for our new team members to gain a basic understanding of track position before being let loose in the car for the first time.
Once the presentation was over, it was time to get the cars out in preparation for our special guests...
...We were very excited to welcome Andrew, Ryan and Liam from The Andrew Connolly Practice into the tech suite. With the sun shining, we took the opportunity to grab a photo together in the school's memorial garden.
Huge thank you to Andrew, Ryan and Liam for taking the time to come visit the team; we have loved telling you about what we do and are extremely grateful for your support. Here's to building a strong partnership on and off the race track!!
After saying goodbye to our guests, we decided to spend the remainder of the evening building on our teamwork and communication skills by playing a game of capture the flag.
The perfect end to a great evening!
