We've had a busy night tonight preparing for Aintree in T-12 hours and 28 minutes....
As is customary before every race, tonight, Cate, Immy and Lara were carrying out our pre-race MOT. Having had everything out of Dylan (when we were repairing his sheared axle!), this job was even more crucial as it allows us to check that everything has been put back correctly.
Alice and Erin, wait...maybe just Alice, are having a whale of a time updating the timelines
Next is painting the 3mm plywood for the lollipop, sadly its not edible this time :(
.....We use our lollipop as a vibrant way to help the driver find the location of the pit stop
Almost done now, Katy is teaching a couple of our team members how to set up and connect our comms unit together.
Finally, last job of the evening was to pack up the trailer...featuring Smurf's very cool and snazzy llama socks! A pre-race packing trailer essential.
Aintree here we come!
...Lets hope, for the first time this season, we don't break any of the cars!!!!!!!
