New year, New Me?!.....For CAUC it's more like New Year, New Car!!!
We've had a very exciting evening in the tech suite as we focused our attention solely on the designs for a new car! Having spent a number of weeks drawing potential designs on CAD, and testing them on OpenFoam, tonight, we took the opportunity to sit down together around the white board to talk through our findings - before discussing what other areas we could improve on.
Huge shout out to Rachel...one of our team members who is vast becoming an OpenFoam expert. Rachel has been working closely with Richard on OpenFoam and therefore, during the discussion was able to confidently explain to the team her findings. She's been working extremely hard running each design through the software and we really appreciate all of her efforts! Thanks Rachel!
Following the big group design session, we've come up with a few new ideas....whilst also highlighting a few areas that maybe need re-testing!! .......which is currently sat top of the job list for next week!!!
So, a short blog this week, but nonetheless, a very exciting one for us!!
